Kathy's Lake George Cottages & Motel is the perfect pace to vacation! Kathy's is located at the southern end of Lake George just one mile from Lake George Village in New York State's six million acre Adirondack State Park, and five miles from the Six Flags Great Escape & Splashwater Kingdom theme park.
Kathy's Lake George Cottages & Motel offers a quiet, peaceful setting away from the crowds, yet our convenient location provides easy access to Lake George's major attractions, restaurants and activities.
Kathy's is family owned and operated for 36 years! Your hosts Carmen and Diane Porreca welcome you and your family as new guests and soon to be "old friends" of Kathy's, and welcome back the many families who consider Kathy's their favorite summer hideaway and come back year-after-year.
Kathy's has a rich Lake George history! Originally developed by a New York based hear surgeon as an "ideal retreat" for his recuperating patients. Situated on six charming natural acres, its higher elevation, and nestled among graceful birch trees and majestic pines, Kathy's chalet-style cottages, grounds and location ensure natural comfort in a secluded atmosphere.
Kathy's Cottages are scrupulously clean and smoke-free, with fully-equipped kitchens, Modern baths with tubs and shower, central air and heat, cable TV with HBO, many with DVD and VCR's. Every cottage has its own private picnic tables and gas grill. Linens are provided, and changed as needed. All housekeeping units have fully-equipped kitchens, modern bath with large showers, AC, and cable TV with HBO. Motel rooms and housekeeping units are services daily. There is a large picnic area available for guest use.
Enjoy our large, sunny 20' x 40' heated swimming pool, surrounded by woods, private, and set back from the road. Our play area includes a swing set, volleyball, ping pong, and basketball. We also offer a large football-size field in front of our property suitable for outdoor sports and guest use, and equipment is available at the cottage/motel office. The larger picnic area with tables and gas grills are perfect for family reunions and larger parties. We offer FREE fax and Wi-Fi access on premises.
