What's there to do here at Lake George when it rains?  Plenty!  There's lots to do here at Lake George if it rains!  The lake is very pretty before and after rain, but, it's not always what travellers to Lake George wish to hear!  Maybe take a drive to a living museum such as The Adirondack Museum at Blue Mountain Lake in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains, take a slow drive north on scenic Lake Shore Drive (US Route 9-N) to historic Fort Ticonderoga, or visit historic Fort William Henry in Lake George Village.  Shop at Lake George shopping outlets and malls, visit the Aviation Mall in nearly Queensbury, NY for indoor movies and shopping, or visit indoor activity centers listed below for the best of things to do here at Lake George when it rains!  And of course, after the rain falls, and clears, watch for one of Lake George's famous and beautiful lake and mountain rainbows!  There's a pot of gold at the end of a Lake George rainbow, and an after-rain mountain hike just might take you to that "end of the rainbow" very spot!
